Our Approach: Museum Quality Drum Scanning, Black-and-White and Color Printing and Fine Art Reproduction

When you want the very best this is where you come. When you are ready to have an important show, sell your work to a museum, or generate prints of a painting that match the original exactly, color for color, this is where you come. When you absolutely want the best quality regardless of what others may tell you is possible, this is where you come. Museum Quality is what we do.

At Eiger Studios, not only will you find the best equipment available but people who know how to use that equipment to its full potential, to fulfill our goal of delivering the highest quality scanning and printing services possible.

For you, this means that we spend the time getting to know exactly what you want. When possible, we appreciate doing the final prints together with our clients so that the the printing matches their vision precisely.

Our knowledge comes from direct experience. Every person who works here has a BFA and/or MFA degree in Fine Art. Our principal, Lenny Eiger, has printed for well-known photographer Richard Avedon, among many others. We are artists ourselves, as well as educators. We understand the context in which you work, and have worked with many artists to help them reach their aesthetic goals. We are able to translate your work thru the digital printing process and maintain its integrity fully.

When we scan film for the photographers who are committed to this medium (or have images from their past that need to be brought into the digital spectrum) we don't play games. There's none of this so many megs for this much money, so many for that. We give you the whole scan. For 35mm, that's 500 megs. For 2 1/4 or large format, its between 2 and 3 Gigabytes, and we can do more if necessary.

Is the quality of the presentation an integral part of your work? We're here for the discerning, for those of you who love an exquisite print and demand that your work be at the highest standard.

For the photographer - Do you want the image to be so rich in tonalities that it appears 3-dimensional? If so, then this is the place for you.

For the Fine Artist - do you want the print to have as much passion as your painting? Would you like to see the colors match, not mostly, but exactly? If so, then this is the place for you.

We're looking for a few serious artists who want to work in concert with us to make nothing less than pure magic.
